My name is Meredith, not Alice, but continue reading…
I am an educated and passionate chef that brings so much more than cooking to the table. I believe in creating an experience. I have learned from some of the best chefs from The Culinary Institute of America in Saint Helena, CA, and I was spoiled by all of California’s bounty.
I feel so fortunate to have spent most my life and career in both Northern and Southern climates and communities. Now love has brought me to Indialantic, Florida, where I can also call home.
I was born and raised in West Los Angeles with a strong, heavy influence from my Armenian heritage. My relatives would find any opportunity to gather over food. While we enjoyed breakfast, we discussed lunch. At lunch we planned dinner.
My grandmother, Alice, not only delighted us grandchildren with her treats, but was a class act when it came to hospitality.
My grandfather Haig built their beautiful Mid-Century Modern home in West LA, and anyone who walked through their door was always treated to something marvelous from Alice’s pantry.
I owe so much to Grandma Alice for the joys and fulfillment that I overwhelmingly feel when I get to share my passions of gathering and feeding, which is why I title all to her name.
